“The Couple Sells Everything For The Seal Boat. It Sank 2 Days” : A Colorado couple said they sold all that they possessed to purchase a sailboat and set out for the untamed oceans together.
Inside two days, their fantasy turned into a nautical bad dream.
On their approach to Key West, Tanner Broadwell and Nikki Walsh’s voyage suddenly finished in John’s Pass off Madeira Beach, Fla., when their 28-foot sailboat struck something submerged Wednesday night.
“We hit something in around 8 or 9 feet of water and it ceased the watercraft totally,” Broadwell revealed to TV station WFTS.
Water overflowed into the lodge, beginning to sink their dream life. The couple got standardized savings cards, money, IDs and their pug Remy as they called for save.
A ship touched base around a hour later, the Tampa Bay Times detailed, yet the water was excessively shallow for it, making it impossible to approach.

So the couple and Remy hopped in, abandoning their fantasy vessel to invert.
“All that I’ve worked for, all that I’ve claimed since I was a youngster, I carried with me. It’s simply skimming without end and there’s no other viable option for me,” Walsh told WFTS.
Broad well and Walsh left Colorado a year ago in the wake of auctioning off every one of their effects, including an auto, to purchase Lagniappe for $5,000. It took a year and another $5,000 to prepare the watercraft to cruise, Tampa Bay Times detailed.
Presently, it could cost thousands to expel Lagniappe from the channel.
